Our Story: From Master Younas to Sixons Motor Gear
The Legacy (1985–2007)
Sixons Motor Gear story begins with Master Muhammad Younas, known throughout Sialkot as one of the industry’s top 5 pattern masters. Starting his journey around 1975 as an apprentice, Master Younas entered the professional export era in 1985 — a time when Sialkot was quietly becoming the world’s motorcycle gear capital.
For over two decades, Master Younas crafted gloves and gear for major European and American brands via CMT (Cut-Make-Trim) supply arrangements. But he didn’t just manufacture — he innovated. Three breakthroughs emerged from his workshop that are still industry standards today:
- Iron molds for precision cutting — ensuring consistent sizing and fit
- Regional size charts — tailored for Europe, USA, Australia, and Asian markets
- Pre-curve side walls and fourchettes — revolutionary glove construction that improved comfort and protection
Master Younas passed away in April 2007, leaving behind an unshakeable legacy of craftsmanship, integrity, and innovation.
Master Younas’s Core Teaching

Master Younas’s notable apprentice (shagird) was Master Naveed, who later became a key figure at Cobija Industry — testament to the quality of training in our lineage.
Shahid Hanjra: Carrying Forward the Legacy (2017–Present)
Learning from the Master
Shahid Hanjra began learning the craft from his father, Master Younas, in 1995 — at an age when most teenagers were far from their family business. For 12 years, until Master Younas passed in 2007, Shahid absorbed not just technical skills but the values that would define his approach to business.

Founding Sixons (2010)
Three years after Master Younas’s passing, with 20+ years of hands-on industry experience, Shahid founded Sixons Motor Gear. The timing wasn’t random — it was strategic.
By 2017, the motorcycle gear market was changing. European brands were tired of dealing with unreliable suppliers who disappeared mid-production, delivered inconsistent quality, or lacked transparency. Startups wanted low MOQ manufacturing but kept hitting 500-1000 piece minimums from generic factories.
Shahid saw an opportunity: become the manufacturer that startup brands actually trust.
Sixons was built with a specific mission: not to be the biggest factory in Sialkot, but the most specialized — and the most honest.

A modern interpretation of the family lineage — Shahid’s vision extending the 40-year legacy forward. Not erasing Master Younas’s memory, but honoring it by building something that reflects his values in a modern era.
