Q: What if my first samples are rejected?
We revise. We keep refining until you approve. No bulk production starts until your sample is perfect. Our promise: “What goes into the sample must go into the bulk.”
Q: Can I start with just 50 pieces to test the market?
Yes, but we suggest a minimum is 100 pieces per style (our economy of scale limit). But 100 pieces is still affordable for testing — and much cheaper than agency fees.
Q: Do I have to buy my first bulk order after sampling?
No. Samples are €200-€500 each. If you decide not to proceed, you walk away. But 95% of our startup clients do proceed — because the sample quality builds confidence.
Q: How does CE certification work for startups?
Sixons prepares your technical file (included). You pay the lab directly (€200-€400 per article). Certificate is issued in YOUR name. You own it forever. It’s faster and cheaper than hiring an agency.
Q: What if I need custom designs or colors?
Perfect. We specialize in custom development. Custom colors, custom armor placement, custom stitching — all handled in the sampling phase. That’s what startups need.
Q: Can I scale after my first order?
Yes. Most startups go 100 → 300 → 500 → 1,000 across their second and third orders. We support this growth path. Your costs per unit actually decrease as volume increases.
Q: How long until I receive my first order?
11-14 weeks typically: 2-5 days consultation, 15-25 days sampling, 10-15 days CE prep, 30-45 days production. Repeat orders are faster (4-6 weeks).
Q: What if I want to switch manufacturers later?
You can. Your CE files are yours. Your designs are yours. You own everything. We don’t lock you in — we just deliver such good quality that most clients stay.
